Description

The Dutch furniture brand Palau was founded in 1997. Its collection, aimed at both residential and business applications, consists of sofas, armchairs, chairs, corner sofas, ottomans, tables and storage systems. These are available in a wide variety of dimensions, colours and materials. Palau also does custom orders.

The company cooperates closely with Dutch and international designers, such as Ben van Berkel, Robert Bronwasser, Arik Levy, Björn Mulder and Mario Ruiz. They all share the typical Palau signature, while preserving their own distinct style.

Palau has built up a lot of experience in commercial furnishing, combining craftsmanship with architectural needs. Among the clients are: Credit Suisse, Erasmus MC, KLM, Kraft, Rabobank, Utrecht University, UPC and WTC.

The New Workplace has a large influence on contemporary interior design. People more and more decide for themselves where and how to work. Flexible workspace and informal open meeting places gain in importance. Palau responds to this changing spirit of the time by developing multifunctional furniture with a broad range of possibilities.

Palau stands for eco-friendly products. The corporate philosophy focuses on providing a timeless and long-life design using high-quality, ecologically sustainable materials and production methods.

Palau has an office and showroom in Design Post Amsterdam and a showroom in Design Post Cologne. Design Post is a furniture collective where several international furniture brands present a broad range of design products.
